I've decided it's time to start sharing some artists that inspire me. There's no band I'd rather start with than Rainy Day Cacophony. Fronted by the incredibly original and endlessly creative Tim Sutton, this band showcases a unique sound that's hard to find and put a name on. From blending acoustic strings with woodwinds and brass, to getting downright punk rock, this band takes the antifolk genre and their own creativity to a new level with every release.
I'm proud to know this band, and I can honestly say they have helped me (on more than one occasion) through discouraging times to keep moving forward with my own music. There were times their album didn't leave my stereo for weeks on end.
Cheers to you, Rainy Day Cacophony. Please, never stop doing what you do. I look forward to sharing the stage with you in the future.
To everyone else: follow the link, like the page, listen to the music. You won't regret it.
